Support SCCSF

The work of the Southern California Children's Scholarship Fund is made possible by donations from foundations, corporations, and individuals.

Although we are proud to serve over 1,500 students through our programs, we currently have thousands of families on our waiting list facing situations like these:

"I am a single mother of two. I currently work in a doctor's office making close to minimum wage. I receive no child support from the father of my children. I had to separate from him three years ago because of his involvement in drugs. I felt it was necessary to leave in order to protect my children from growing up in such environment. I am trying very hard to provide for my children the best care I can possibly give them, that includes a good education. With your help, I will be able to send my children to a private school, without having to worry about the bare necessities."

Patricia Herman Los Angeles, CA

"Arthur was diagnosed with infantile autism with mild mental retardation, at approximately 16 months of age. I am extremely interested in your program. I feel that Arthur could better benefit from a private school setting in many ways."

Kimberly Ratchliff & Arthur Vanloon Alpine, CA

All donations to SCCSF are matched by the Children's Scholarship Fund's national program. The average SCCSF scholarship is $1,300 toward an average tuition of $2,850. Because of this leverage, your donation of $650 is enough to provide one scholarship for a needy child in California.

SCCSF is an office of the Children's Scholarship Fund, which is exempt from federal income tax under IRS code 501 [c] 3. All donations are eligible for federal income tax deductions, subject to applicable limitations.

If you would like to contribute to our vital program, simply mail in your check to:

Philanthropic Partners

In Southern California there have been a growing number of foundations, corporations and individuals who have taken advantage of our matching contribution capability since 1999.

The Southern California Children's Scholarship Fund is deeply appreciative of those who have become our philanthropic partners and who have made possible so many scholarships for children from low-income families.
