A Legacy of Opportunity and Hope

“Education is my top priority because I know it will give my children better lives, so I am very thankful to CSF supporters. Without your help, my children and the children of my friends and neighbors would not have the future that they now have.”
– CSF Mom Esperanza

When Ted Forstmann and John Walton launched Children’s Scholarship Fund in 1998, they knew they were changing the lives of thousands of low-income families, providing opportunity and hope.  That’s what a quality education does. But they didn’t know their investment would catalyze more than a billion dollars in support for more than 224,000 students—and counting.

Founders’ Legacy Society

When you join the Founders’ Legacy Society with a gift through your will or estate, you make this astounding legacy of hope and opportunity your own, ensuring that more K-8th grade students and their families will have the means to make a life-changing private, independent, or parochial school education part of their own family story.

Through the Founders’ Legacy Society, you can give children the gift of a quality education and advance a future of greater educational opportunity for all children for years to come.

Founders Legacy Society Benefits

  • Special recognition in the CSF Annual Report and at events;
  • An annual mission update from the President;
