We are proud to share that CSF Alumna Nicole Serrato is the subject of a profile on the Walton Family Foundation’s blog. Nicole remembers moving to a private school starting in seventh grade and being stunned to learn about her scholarship.
“I’ll never forget the day my dad explained to me that two men who I had never met were helping to pay for my education,” says Nicole. “I wanted to reach out to CSF and thank them.”
Many years later, Nicole did indeed thank CSF. She is now working part-time for CSF as a Communications and Development Assistant while she finishes a degree in film. We hope you enjoy reading her story.
