CSF Alumni Network with Supporters at Penn Club Event

CSF Alumni Antoine Peralta-Castro, Martina Amate Perez, and Charles Rosario shared their stories at a networking event with members of CSF’s President’s Council and Young Leaders Board.

At a networking event at the Penn Club this winter, three alumni shared how their scholarships helped shape their future paths.

  • CSF Alumnus Antoine Peralta-Castro spoke about how as a CSF Scholar at Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem, he was encouraged to apply to Cristo Rey New York High School, which, in turn, led to an internship at Credit Suisse where he learned about coding. He’s now studying computer science at Fordham University.
  • CSF Alumna Martina Amate Perez noted her CSF scholarship has had a “domino effect,” leading her to other scholarship and enrichment opportunities that brought her to Yale University, where she recently earned a bachelor’s degree. [Please only make this change if it doesn’t add an extra line.]
  • CSF Alumnus Charles Rosario shared his story of becoming a professional dancer with the American Ballet Theater, and how the foundation he received at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School in Washington Heights exposed him to new ideas, inspiring him to work hard to pursue his dreams.
