Former NH Commissioner of Education Frank Edelblut Joins CSF’s Board of Directors

(Monday, March 30, 2026, New York, NY) — Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) is pleased to announce Frank Edelblut has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Edelblut served as New Hampshire’s Commissioner of Education from 2017 to 2025. As commissioner, Frank did many things to broaden pathways for Granite State students, including helping to move the New Hampshire Education Freedom Account (EFA) program from a legislative concept to a working program in partnership with Children’s Scholarship Fund New Hampshire and other approved scholarship organizations.

From 2014-2015, Frank served as a state representative, representing Hillsborough County District 38, and he has also served as a local water commissioner for the town of Wilton, NH since 2014.

Before public service, Frank founded Control Solutions International, a provider of independent internal audit, compliance, risk management, and technology solutions. In 2009, he sold Control Solutions to a global top-20 international consulting firm after growing it to serve more than 500 clients in more than 35 countries.

“For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of working as the Commissioner of Education for the State of New Hampshire to create opportunities for children throughout the state,” Frank shared. “I am honored to join a highly qualified team of like-minded professionals at the Children’s Scholarship Fund to continue creating bright futures for our children across the country.”

CSF President and CEO Darla Romfo said, “On behalf of the Board of Directors, we welcome Frank to the board and look forward to benefiting from his entrepreneurial spirit and his passion for education freedom.”
