Yesterday, CSF celebrated National School Choice Week in New Hampshire with a coalition of educational organizations, schools, and families. The group of about 200 heard from special guest Governor Chris Sununu, who spoke about the need for parents to have educational options for their children and how his own family has experienced public and private schools, as well as homeschooling:
“I’m honored to have had the opportunities that we had, but a lot of families here…do not have the financial means or the options that others have. When we talk about school choice, it’s not about politics. It’s about families and individuals and making sure everyone has an equal opportunity.”
The event also featured enthusiastic performances by talented students from a variety of Granite State schools. You can see photos from the event on CSF’s Facebook page.
