Hats Off to CSF’s Participating Schools

By CSF President Darla M. Romfo

This week we had the opportunity to host representatives from several largely independent private schools where CSF supports children on scholarship.

The purpose of the meetings was to get the schools more familiar with our new scholarship management data base, but it ended up being an opportunity for our schools to learn from each other about new ways of approaching their everyday challenges and for us to learn from them, as well. As is often the case, we received more than we gave.

Once again I find myself in awe of people who do so much, for so many, by making a little bit go a long way. They are true heroes and such a welcome contrast to the noise of everyday media and events. So our hats go off to the everyday heroes at:

The Learning Tree Cultural Preparatory School (Bronx)
Big Apple Institute (Brooklyn)
Great Oaks Elementary School (Brooklyn)
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy (Brooklyn)
MACADEMY School of Science and Technology (Brooklyn)
Masores Bais Yaakov Elementary School (Brooklyn)
Phyl’s Academy Preparatory School (Brooklyn)
Smiles Around Us Academy (Staten Island)

We are honored and blessed to partner with you!
